The need to identify who our clients are.

If you require a mailing address, we are required to carry out due diligence on all applications. We are licenced by HMRC and registered with the London Local Authority, to offer these services and therefore will need to collect identification. Such as, proof of identity (e.g. passport or driving licence), proof of address (e.g. utility bill or bank statement that is less than 3 months old), and a copy of a certificate of incorporation if you are applying for a registered office address. We also need information and ID for the beneficial owners of companies, if nominee directors are being used. This is inline with the new EU Anti Money Laundering Directive rules on beneficial owners which will be operational in the UK from June 2016. All beneficial owners will be put onto a register and UK Ltd companies will need to provide details of the "person of significant control".
