Choosing which address service you need

Sole Trader

You will have a company set up with hmrc only, i.e. not be a limited company and registered at Companies House.
 

Best Option:  Business address.

This is used for, Customers, Clients, Suppliers and banks and on stationery (invoices, letterhards etc) and website. This can only be used for business mail and not for personal mail or personal bank accounts.

How much does a business address cost?

London = £99.99 + vat a year.
Outside London = £84.99 + vat a year


We also request a £20 deposit so that we can forward your mail - you can select how your mail is forwarded and how often.

Can I receive packages?
 

You can receive packages at the outside London (Sussex) address.

London is solely for business letters. Packages and parcels are not accepted.

Individual

What address can I use for personal mail?


If are based in the UK or are travelling overseas, but need to have a UK address for your bank, insurances etc, you can apply to use our Sussex address.

Please note that we do not allow the London address to be used for personal mail, it is strictly for business clients.

How much does an address for an individual cost?

£84.99 + vat a year

We also request a £20 deposit so that we can forward your mail - you can select how your mail is forwarded and how often.

What can't the address be used for?

You can not use the address as your electoral role address, to claim any UK benefits or to register vehicles.

Limited Company

What address does a limited company need?


The choice of package depends on how you plan to use the address and where it will be made public.

Do you need it to register a new company? If yes, the minimum you need is the registered office address
Do you want to use the address to protect the Directors home address and privacy? If yes, you need to add the directors service address
Do you need to use the address on websites, stationery and as a contact/correspondence address with Suppliers, Customers, Banks? If so, you will need the All-Mail Package.

What is a registered office address?

The registered office address is the legal address of your limited company, used when you incorporate your company at Companies House. This is where you Companies House mail will be sent and where your company registers should be held.

Sussex - £34.99  a year UK Based Clients
London - £39 a year UK Based Clients
£49.99 - Overseas Based Clients

The Directors service address costs from £12.50 a year, for all Directors.

This service is for Companies House (CH)/HMRC use only, if you need to use it on your website or for customers and suppliers please select the All Mail Package.

All-Mail Package

What is the All-Mail Package?

This package includes the registered office address, service address and the business address. So, this becomes the one address where "All-Mail" is sent to, from official government agencies, customers, clients and suppliers.

If you need to use the address for the official mail and also advertise the address online anywhere this is the perfect solution.
 

How much does the All Mail Package cost?

Sussex - £129.99 a year UK Based Clients  
London - £149.99 a year UK Based Clients

Charities

As a charity what address should i use?


The choice of address package, will really depend on the organisational structure of your charity and where you need to use the address.
 

Unincorporated Charity
Registered at Charity Commission

If you are an unincorporated charity and just need to use the address at the Charity Commission and on websites, emails and stationery, which will be the contact address for all your funders, suppliers etc., then the most appropriate service is the "business address".

This service allows you to use the address publically and doesn't include the use at Companies House. 

 

Incorporated Charity
Limited by Guarantee or Trust

Are you planning to register with Companies House?

If you are registering as a limited by guarantee company you will initally need the registered office address. 

How much does a registered office address cost?

Are you going to just use the address with funders, general public as a contact address?

You will need the "business address", so you can use the address with funders, suppliers on websites and charity stationery. This supposes that the charity already has a registered office address established.
